Eric Paslay Releases New Single Called “Young Forever.”
February 21, 2018
Four years after the release of his debut album, Eric Paslay is back.
He performed this new song, “Young Forever,” for a packed Ryman Auditorium during the 2018 Country Radio Seminar.
The crowd of radio programmers and music industry representatives gave the Abilene, Texas native a warm welcome back. Eric Paslay co-wrote with Chris DeStefano (“That’s My Kind of Night,” “Something in the Water,” “Don’t Ya”) and singer-songwriter Morgan Evans.
“It all points back to your youth, and it’s about the feeling of it of ‘shooting stars lighting up the boulevard,’ like you’re just young enough to get away with anything almost…It’s that summer love; it’s that first time rush. And I hope I live that way, and I hope everyone who hears this song gets that feeling and makes ‘em want to feel young forever every time they do something in their life and experience it for the first time or the hundredth time.”
Eric is set to headline the 21st Annual JDRF Promise Gala: A Country Side of a Cure on Saturday (February 24th). The event raises money and awareness for Juvenile Diabetes and the JDRF, which is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.
