Radio Show Notes From March 1 2018

In case you missed it on the show today

Reba McEntire announced the 2018 ACM nominees this morning.  Chris Stapleton leads the field with 8 of them.  Reba will host the April 15th awards ceremony also.

If you need more proof that Dolly Parton is a national treasure, her Imagination Library donates its 100 millionth book.  That number is absolutely mind-boggling.

Feel Good Story Of The Day:  Good Samaritan helps thwart a possible kidnapping attempt near Los Angeles.

The Mississippi River is expected to rise to 57 feet at the Natchez Gage in two weeks.  Farmers in Louisiana and Mississippi need to prepare to move their livestock and equipment.

A $1600 Uber ride across three states is still a hell of a lot cheaper than a DUI conviction or possibly killing someone.

Throwback Thursday:  I’m going to start making a Spotify playlist of songs for TBT.  All these songs were #1 on the Billboard country singles chart this week in country music history.  Enjoy!
